If we cancel the cohort: If Sec-Llama Academy cancels a cohort before it begins (e.g., due to insufficient enrollment), you will receive a full refund of tuition paid within 14 business days, plus the option to enroll in the next cohort at the same price.
Removal for conduct violations: Students removed from the program due to violations of Section 6 (Acceptable Use) or Section 7 (Conduct) are not entitled to any refund.
4. Attendance & Self-Directed Study
- Students are expected to attend at least 21 of the 24 live sessions
- Missed sessions are not individually rescheduled
- Missing more than 3 sessions may affect eligibility for the SL-JPT certification
- Students missing sessions should notify the instructor in advance by email
In addition to live sessions, students are expected to complete approximately 8 hours of self-directed study per week. Before each session, students receive a preparation list (reading materials, videos, and questions to answer independently). After each session, students complete lab practice to reinforce the material. Total weekly time commitment is approximately 12 hours (4 live + 8 self-study).
Consistent completion of pre- and post-session work is required for certification eligibility and is necessary to keep up with the pace of the program. Students who do not complete preparation work may fall behind as concepts in live sessions build on prior independent study.
5. Certification (SL-JPT)
The SL-JPT certificate is awarded to students who complete all of the following:
- Attend at least 21 of 24 sessions
- Complete weekly home assignments (no more than 4 consecutive weeks missed)
- Submit a final penetration test report
- Present the final project live during Session 24
The SL-JPT is an industry certification issued by Sec-Llama S.A.C. It is not an academic degree or government-accredited qualification. Sec-Llama S.A.C. does not guarantee job placement or income.

- You may only apply these techniques on systems you own or have explicit written permission to test

- You can leave the group at any time using WhatsApp’s built-in leave function — this does not affect your enrollment status or access to the course
- Consent to WhatsApp communications is not a condition of enrollment or purchase
- To be removed without leaving yourself, or if you provided a number in error, email michael@sec-llama.com
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sec-Llama S.A.C.’s total liability to any student for any claim related to this program shall not exceed the total tuition paid by that student. Sec-Llama Academy is not liable for technical failures, internet outages, or platform issues outside our reasonable control.
11. Contact
These terms were prepared as a business template. Cross-border agreements between a Peruvian company and US students involve legal complexity. We recommend having an attorney review the full enrollment agreement before the first paid cohort.
