This Student Enrollment Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into as of the date of enrollment ("Effective Date") by and between:
1.1 Program: Sec-Llama Junior Penetration Tester (SL-JPT) — 12-Week Live Cybersecurity Training Program.
1.2 Format: Twenty-four (24) live online sessions delivered via Google Meet, two (2) sessions per week, two (2) hours per session, over twelve (12) consecutive weeks.
1.3 Start Date: As specified in the enrollment confirmation email sent to the Student upon completed payment ("Cohort Start Date").
1.4 Class Size: Maximum ten (10) students per cohort.
1.5 Instructor: Michael Dahan, CEO of Sec-Llama S.A.C.
1.6 Delivery Platform: Google Meet (live video conferencing). Students are responsible for their own internet connection and compatible device (minimum 8GB RAM recommended).

2.2 Payment is processed via PayPal. Full tuition is due and must be received in cleared funds before the Student's first session.
2.3 Students who have not completed payment by the Cohort Start Date will not receive access to sessions until payment is confirmed.
2.4 All amounts are in United States Dollars (USD). The Student is responsible for any currency conversion or international transaction fees.
2.5 A PayPal payment confirmation serves as the Student's official receipt of payment.
3.1 Full Refund: Written cancellation at least seven (7) days before the Cohort Start Date → full refund minus PayPal processing fees (~3%), issued within fourteen (14) business days.
3.2 Partial Refund: Withdrawal after Session 1 but before Session 3 begins → 50% refund ($1,750 at early-bird price), issued within fourteen (14) business days.
3.3 No Refund: Once Session 3 has begun, no refund will be issued for any reason, including schedule conflicts, dissatisfaction, or inability to complete assignments. By this point the Student has received a minimum of four (4) hours of live instruction and access to all course materials.
3.4 Provider Cancellation: If Sec-Llama Academy cancels a cohort before the start date (e.g., insufficient enrollment), all students receive a full refund and option to enroll in a future cohort.
3.5 Removal for Cause: Removal for violations of Section 6 or Section 8 is without refund.
3.6 How to Cancel: Email michael@sec-llama.com with subject line "Enrollment Cancellation — [Your Name]."
4.1 Students must attend a minimum of twenty-one (21) of twenty-four (24) sessions to remain in good standing and be eligible for the SL-JPT certification.
4.2 Missed sessions are not individually rescheduled. Students who miss a session will receive the written lab guide and materials but will not receive a recording of the live instruction.
4.3 Students who miss more than three (3) sessions will not be eligible for the SL-JPT certification. Exceptions may be granted at the Provider's sole discretion for documented emergencies.
4.4 Self-Directed Study: Approximately eight (8) hours of self-directed study per week is expected (total ~12 hours/week including live sessions). This is required for certification eligibility.
4.5 Home Missions: Weekly assignments are required for certification eligibility. Missing Home Missions for more than four (4) consecutive weeks will result in ineligibility for certification.
4.6 Final Project: Students must complete and present a final penetration test project during Session 24 to receive the SL-JPT certification.
5.1 The SL-JPT certification is issued upon satisfying: (a) minimum attendance (21/24 sessions), (b) Home Mission completion, (c) submission and presentation of the final project.
5.2 The SL-JPT is an industry certification issued by Sec-Llama S.A.C. It does not confer an academic degree or government-accredited qualification.
5.3 Sec-Llama reserves the right to revoke a previously issued certification obtained through academic dishonesty or misrepresentation.
6.1 All techniques, tools, and information shared in the Course are provided strictly for educational purposes in authorized lab environments.
6.2 The Student agrees to apply penetration testing techniques only against systems for which they have explicit written authorization. Testing without authorization is illegal under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), 18 U.S.C. § 1030, and equivalent laws worldwide.
6.3 Prohibited Uses: Course materials and techniques may not be used to access, damage, or disrupt any unauthorized system; to create or deploy malware; or to engage in any illegal activity.
6.4 Violation of this section is grounds for immediate removal without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.
6.5 By enrolling, the Student expressly acknowledges the legal boundaries of offensive security work. Sec-Llama Academy bears no responsibility for the Student's actions outside of authorized educational environments.
7.1 All course materials (slides, lab guides, scripts, videos, methodologies) are the exclusive intellectual property of Sec-Llama S.A.C.
7.2 The Student receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use course materials for their own educational purposes during and after the Program for personal reference.
7.3 The Student may not share, sell, redistribute, or use Provider materials to deliver competing educational programs.
7.4 Student work product (lab reports, assignments, final project) is owned by the Student.
8.1 Students must maintain professional conduct consistent with the standards of the cybersecurity profession.
8.2 The following are grounds for immediate removal without refund: harassment or abusive behavior toward the instructor or other students; sharing session access with unauthorized individuals; recording sessions without written permission; disrupting the learning environment; misrepresenting assignment completion.
8.3 No Student Recording: Sessions may not be recorded in any format without prior written permission from Michael Dahan.
8.4 Provider Recording: Sec-Llama Academy does not record or distribute sessions. Students who miss a session will receive written lab materials but not a live recording.
During the Course, the Provider may share proprietary techniques and operational security knowledge. The Student agrees to treat such information as confidential and not disclose it to third parties outside of their own authorized professional work.
10.1 No Employment Guarantee: Sec-Llama Academy does not guarantee employment, job placement, income, or any specific professional outcome. No representation is made regarding pass rates, job placement rates, or average earnings of graduates. Career outcomes depend on individual effort, market conditions, and factors outside the Provider's control.
10.2 Technology: The Provider is not liable for technical failures, internet outages, or platform disruptions beyond its reasonable control. Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule affected sessions.
10.3 Limitation of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sec-Llama Academy's total liability shall not exceed the total tuition paid by the Student.
10.4 Disclaimer of Warranties: The Program is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
10.5 Force Majeure: Sec-Llama Academy is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including illness or medical emergency of the instructor, natural disasters, government actions, or platform outages. If more than three (3) sessions cannot be rescheduled within the twelve-week program window, the Student will be offered enrollment in a future cohort or a pro-rated refund for undelivered sessions.
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment relationship, partnership, or joint venture between the Student and Sec-Llama S.A.C. The Student is an independent adult individual entering voluntarily.
Sec-Llama Academy collects the Student's name, email, and payment information to administer enrollment and deliver the Program. This data will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes without consent. Payment data is processed by PayPal under their privacy policy.
13.1 Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Peru. Nothing in this provision limits or waives any rights the Student may have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of their state of residence. Where such laws apply and provide greater protections, they shall control.
13.2 Binding Arbitration: Unresolved disputes shall be submitted to final and binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures. Arbitration shall be conducted in English, by a single arbitrator, in Miami, Florida, USA (or by video conference if agreed). Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator orders otherwise.
13.3 CLASS ACTION WAIVER: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE STUDENT AGREES THAT ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE RESOLVED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS.
13.4 Note for US Students: US state consumer protection laws (particularly in California, New York, Florida, and Texas) may provide additional rights that cannot be waived by contract. Students are encouraged to consult a local attorney regarding their state-specific rights.
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior understandings. It may only be modified by written instrument signed by both parties. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
